I am a graduate student in the Language Sciences program at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

I work on sociolinguistic phenomena in Bengali-speaking communities, analyzing the phonology and morphology of non-standard varieties of the language, and bringing in perspectives from historical contexts where applicable.
